How is Sify Broadband Service

I was so frustated with the kind of services a broadband company like Sify provides that I thought I should just pen by thoughts for others to read. This are entirely my views about the services I got from Sify. I wanted to let it know to the world so that people will make their choices before opting for any Internet service provider.

Sify's customer care is rated at level 3 data center and this is proudly published on their site. However I have not come across more pathetic customer service than Sify in my entire life for any product or service.

The way the customer care executives handle the call, we feel as if we are seriously being obliged by getting their services. There is absolutely no action for the first 2 attempts. They really dont stand by their words. I had instances where they transfer the call somewhere and the other guy is just not aware of the problem and then you have to re-iterate your problem all over again.

I have escalated the calls for I dont know how many times now. All the departments whether technical support, customer care all of them are so rude in talks that I really think twice before dialling them.

And whenever there is a problem the problem is always on our side. Either it is our computer not working well or problem with our cable (yes you heard it right, the cable that they provide is our cable, so that problem with that cable is your problems and they can help resolve it if you pay them money to change th cable. Really weired). And everytime I was able to resolve the problem.

I will write down in more details in my coming blogs. I would invite people who are equally frustated with Sify's services to come up. Let us make this blog become the first hit when somebody searches for Sify broadband. I want to make the management of Sify understand the importance of a single retail customer (in their language) and to prove a point that if you dont provide quality service you should bear the results for the same.

Please Note: These are my personal views based on my experience with Sify.
